    RECURRING ANT ACTIVITY

When to Consider Professional Ant Control

Professional ant control may be needed when ant trails keep returning, ants are reaching kitchens or other food and water areas, or activity is showing up in several parts of the property.

Repeated activity can point to established travel routes or a nearby colony. Effective ant treatment focuses on those routes, entry points, and nesting areas rather than only the ants currently visible.

    WHERE ACTIVITY BUILDS

What We Look for During an Ant Inspection

    01

    Recurring Ant Trails

Ants continue appearing along counters, baseboards, windows, doors, or the same exterior paths.

    02

Ants in More Than One Area

Activity is showing up in several rooms or around cabinets, bathrooms, plumbing, or wall edges.

    03

    Exterior Activity Near the Home

Ant trails or nesting activity are visible around patios, landscaping, foundations, cracks, or other entry areas.

    ANT CONTROL SERVICES

What Our Ant Control Services in Sacramento Cover

Our ant control service covers indoor and outdoor activity, active trails, nesting areas, recurring infestations, and the conditions that may be allowing ants to keep returning. Treatment is based on where the activity is concentrated and how ants are moving through the property.

    Interior Ant Control

Treatment for ants appearing in kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets, around sinks, along baseboards, and other interior areas where trails are forming.

    Exterior Ant Control

Ant treatment around foundations, patios, walkways, landscaping, entry areas, and other exterior locations with active ant movement.

    Ant Colony Treatment

When activity points to an established colony, treatment focuses on the areas and trails connected to the source rather than only the ants visible at the surface.

Ant Trail & Entry Area Treatment

Active trails and likely entry points around doors, windows, cracks, utility openings, and other access areas can be included in the treatment plan.

    Recurring Ant Infestations

For ant problems that keep returning after cleaning or store-bought treatments, we trace the activity and treat the areas helping the infestation continue.

    Ant Prevention

We look for entry points and property conditions that may be helping ants return, then recommend practical steps to reduce future activity.

    ANT INFESTATION

Signs of an Ant Infestation Around Your Home

Ant activity becomes more concerning when it keeps returning or starts spreading into different parts of the property. Indoors, ants often follow consistent routes toward food, water, or sheltered areas. Outside, steady movement near the foundation, patios, landscaping, or entry points can signal a nearby colony.

    Common signs include:

    • Ant trails along counters, baseboards, walls, windows, or doors
    • Ants repeatedly appearing around sinks, cabinets, pantries, or bathrooms
    • Activity returning soon after cleaning or using store-bought products
    • Ant movement around foundations, patios, concrete edges, or landscaping
    • Ants entering through cracks, gaps, plumbing openings, or utility lines
    • Activity showing up in more than one room or area of the property

Recurring trails are especially important because they show that ants are continuing to use the same route. That usually means the source of the activity has not been addressed yet.

Ryan Fuller is so honest that he will give you the best advice for your situation and not his pocketbook. He could have made substantially more money by encouraging me to do ALL his recommended repairs and he did not. Instead, he advised me the best route for me financially and for possibly a quicker sale of my home. (Bottom line, he could've made $10k plus, and we are only doing $1,400 per Ryan's recommendation. Quite the savings I would say!) Honestly, his integrity and work ethic are superior, and I would highly encourage you to give him a call for all of your pest needs. He is very responsive and really works with your schedule. I truly can't give this guy enough kudos with all the help he has been through my home purchase and now a home sale. The home I bought needed quite a bit of work, including to be tented for wood boring beetles and sprayed for subterranean termites, and he saved me over $3,500 on that work! Really, he is a gem. I will refer no one else. Ryan is the man to call!

Ryan is amazing! I was selling my house and his company was hired by the buyer to come and do an inspection. He found problems unknown to me (bummer) but also provided solutions (yay). He completed the required work on time and on budget! As someone who has remodeled several rooms- trust me- that RARELY happens!!! Ryan did beautiful, quality work! Thank you Ryan!
    OUR ANT TREATMENT PROCESS

How Our Ant Control Process Works

Our ant control process follows the activity found at the property, from locating the source to treating the areas that need attention.

    01

    Inspect the Activity

We check where ants are appearing, follow active trails, and look for likely entry points, nesting areas, and exterior activity.

    02

    Identify the Source

We use the location and pattern of the activity to narrow down where the colony may be established and how ants are reaching the property.

    03

    Treat the Problem Areas

Treatment is applied to the areas connected to the infestation, including active trails, entry areas, nesting locations, and other spots that need attention.

    04

    Recommend Next Steps

We explain what was treated, point out any entry areas or conditions that may need attention, and let you know if follow-up treatment is recommended.

    ANT CONTROL FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

To get rid of an ant infestation, the colony and active trails need to be treated, not just the ants you can see. That may include baiting, targeted treatment, and sealing or correcting entry areas based on the species and where the activity is coming from.
Ants keep coming back because cleaning removes the ants and trail you can see, but it does not eliminate the colony. As long as the colony remains active and ants can still reach food, moisture, or an entry point, new trails can form.
Yes. Some ants can establish nests in wall voids, around plumbing, beneath floors, or other protected spaces. Repeated activity from the same crack, baseboard, outlet, or wall area can be a sign that the source is close by.
Kitchens and bathrooms provide food, water, and moisture that ants seek. They may enter through gaps around windows, doors, plumbing lines, cabinets, baseboards, and other small openings.
Professional ant control may start reducing activity within a few days, while colony-focused treatment can take longer depending on the ant species, colony size, location, and treatment used.
Some infestations can be controlled with one service, while larger or recurring colonies may require follow-up treatment. The ant species, colony location, and activity after the initial service determine what is needed next.

It depends on the products being used and where treatment is applied. We’ll tell you before service if you, children, or pets need to stay out of a treated area and when it is safe to return.
