Termite Inspections
Visible and accessible areas are checked for termite activity, wood damage, and conditions that may allow termites to enter or remain.
Termite-damaged wood does not always need the same repair. When enough sound material remains, limited damage may be reinforced with additional framing.
When damage has weakened a framing member beyond a reliable repair, the area is reconstructed using sound, stable material.
Fuller Termite evaluates the affected wood after the termite activity has been addressed, then recommends the repair that fits its actual condition. The scope may include structural framing, subflooring, siding, trim, or other damaged components.
01
A framing member with limited damage may be reinforced by installing new wood alongside it. This preserves sound material while restoring support where it is needed.
02
When termite damage has weakened a structural member, the repair is planned around the role that wood serves in the structure. New framing or supporting material is installed where needed to restore a solid connection.
03
After the structural repair is completed, accessible siding, trim, flooring, or other finished materials are restored as part of the approved repair scope.
Fuller Termite repairs wood damaged by subterranean termites, drywood termites, and powderpost beetles across the Sacramento area and nearby Northern California communities. After the activity has been treated, damaged material is reinforced or replaced according to its condition, location, and structural purpose. Projects can range from a single damaged board to connected sections of framing and exterior woodwork.
Wall studs, beams, headers, joists, and other framing members weakened by termite damage can be reinforced or replaced. The repair is based on how much sound wood remains and the role that component serves.
Damage beneath flooring may involve subfloor panels, floor joists, rim boards, or supporting wood around the affected area. Accessible damaged sections are removed or strengthened before the finished surface is restored.
Damaged fascia boards, soffits, rafter tails, and other roofline components can be removed and replaced. Repairs address the visible wood as well as accessible damage found behind it.
Visible woodwork damaged by termites can be rebuilt after the underlying activity and concealed damage have been addressed. This may include casings, boards, moulding, and other finished components.
Termite damage needs professional repair when the affected wood has lost strength, no longer holds fasteners, or begins affecting nearby components. Treatment stops the termite activity, but it does not restore wood that has already been hollowed, split, or weakened.
Signs that repair may be needed include:
The full repair scope is confirmed once the affected wood can be properly exposed and examined.

Ryan Fuller is so honest that he will give you the best advice for your situation and not his pocketbook. He could have made substantially more money by encouraging me to do ALL his recommended repairs and he did not. Instead, he advised me the best route for me financially and for possibly a quicker sale of my home. (Bottom line, he could've made $10k plus, and we are only doing $1,400 per Ryan's recommendation. Quite the savings I would say!) Honestly, his integrity and work ethic are superior, and I would highly encourage you to give him a call for all of your pest needs. He is very responsive and really works with your schedule. I truly can't give this guy enough kudos with all the help he has been through my home purchase and now a home sale. The home I bought needed quite a bit of work, including to be tented for wood boring beetles and sprayed for subterranean termites, and he saved me over $3,500 on that work! Really, he is a gem. I will refer no one else. Ryan is the man to call!Posted on Google![]()

Ryan is amazing! I was selling my house and his company was hired by the buyer to come and do an inspection. He found problems unknown to me (bummer) but also provided solutions (yay). He completed the required work on time and on budget! As someone who has remodeled several rooms- trust me- that RARELY happens!!! Ryan did beautiful, quality work! Thank you Ryan!

No. Wood with limited damage and enough sound material remaining may be reinforced with an additional framing member. Wood that is extensively damaged or affected by fungal decay must be removed and replaced.
Concealed damage is found by opening the affected area and examining the wood behind siding, trim, flooring, drywall, or other finished surfaces. Any additional damage that changes the repair scope is explained before more work is completed.
Yes. Accessible termite damage involving wall studs, headers, beams, joists, subflooring, and other framing components can be reinforced or rebuilt according to the condition of the wood.
Yes. An existing WDO report can be reviewed to identify listed repair items. The current condition of the affected area, termite treatment status, and access requirements are confirmed before repair work begins.
No. Fumigation is not automatically required because wood damage is present. The appropriate termite treatment depends on the termite species, location, and extent of activity, while the repair scope depends on the condition of the damaged wood.
The cost depends on the location of the damage, the components involved, the amount of material that must be removed, and the finish work required. Pricing is provided after the affected area and repair scope have been evaluated.
Existing materials are matched as closely as possible. An exact match depends on the age, profile, finish, and current availability of the original siding or trim.
